The art of fly fishing is to present a fly for the fish to take, and to persuade the fish to take it. To achieve this it is imperative that you are able to cast a fly or present a nymph at short range. We are very lucky to have access to various still waters for casting lessons, managed by Southwest Lakes Trust, which are superb venues for teaching casting and still water fishing techniques.
